How to cancel your service with us
In this article, we will teach you how to cancel your service with us. The process is rather straightforward. Let's get right into it!
First, you'll want to make sure you're logged in at https://client.witherhosting.com/ . Once you are, click the services button and then choose the service you want to cancel. In this case we are going to cancel our Minecraft Server
Then, click on the gear icon to go to the service details
Now, click on "Request Cancellation"
After that, you can specify a reason as to why you want to cancel the server. Please note the following cancellation reasons can be avoided:
I chose the wrong game type - You can always change your software in the panel at the software section!
I could not load in my world - All custom worlds ( except marketplace worlds ) should be able to load in. If you're having trouble, open a live chat before cancelling to help you resolve this!
The server was laggy - Open a live chat and we'll help fix these problems for you!
I ordered the wrong service - You can upgrade/downgrade your server at anytime!
I chose the wrong location - You can always change the location of your server at anytime by going to settings --> Change Location in WitherPanel
If choosing other, please provide a reason! We use these as feedback and try to improve upon it to make the users' experience better.
You can also choose whether you want to cancel immediately, or at the end of the billing cycle. Note that cancelling immediately does not give you account credit. If you cancel at the end of the billing cycle, the service gets removed at the next due date.
And you can then click "Request Cancellation".
Your service will have successfully been cancelled in our system!
Generally, after canceling your service from our billing panel, you should not receive any charge from us that you do not authorize, however it is also advisable to cancel the automatic payment contract generated by PayPal.
To do this, follow the steps below:
Log in to the PayPal account that you initially used to pay for your service at WitherHosting
Click on the gear in the upper right corner
Go to "Payments" tab
At the bottom of that tab, you will find the Automatic Payments section
Look for the subscription created with the company "Enzonix LLC", click on it and cancel the subscription
Once these steps are completed, you will have canceled your subscription with us!
