How to create ports
In this article, we'll explore how to create and assign ports for our server. These additional ports can be utilized in plugins that necessitate a web server port, such as dynmap, bluemap, player analytics, or any other plugin that establishes a web server.
To begin, ensure you're logged into WitherPanel, then navigate to your server and proceed to the ports section.
Navigate to Network, where you'll find the port management section.
You'll notice your primary game port, which is already assigned to your server.
To create new ports, simply click on "Create Allocation," and a random port will be assigned to your server! In our case, port 19279 has been added to our server. We can now perform various actions with this port, such as:
Make Primary - Designate this port as the primary port, making it the port you connect to the server with.
Delete - Remove the port.
Notes - Add notes to this port, explaining its purpose!
You cannot delete the port which you have set as primary. To delete this port, you will need to set another port as primary first.
If your hostname is different, ensure that the IP address in your configuration file matches! By default, we allow a maximum of 3 ports at once per server. If you require more ports simultaneously, please open a ticket with us, explaining the reasons for the additional ports, and we will consider adjusting the amount!
