How to create ports

In this article, we will learn how to create and assign ports for our server. We can use these additional ports in plugins that require a webserver port, for example, dynmap, bluemap, player analytics, or any other plugin that creates a webserver.
To get started, make sure you're at WitherPanel , then go to your server, and head on over to the ports section.

🤔 Understanding the Ports Section 🤔

Go to Network, then you can see the port management section

You will see that you would have your primary game port, which is the port for your server, already assigned to your server.

âž• Creating a new port âž•

To create new ports, simply click on "Create Allocation", and a random port will be assigned to your server! In our case, the port 27651 has been added to our server. We can
now do some things with this port, such as

Make Primary - We can make this port the primary port, which makes it the port you connect to the server with.
Delete - This will delete your port.
Notes - Add notes to this port, such as an explanation as to what this port is used for!

Note that you can change your already existing primary port and even delete that, as long as you have one port that is marked as primary!

If your hostname is different, then, in your configuration file that needs the port, make sure the IP address is set to that! By default, we allow a maximum of 3 ports at once per server. In the event you require more ports at once, please open a ticket with us, stating the reasons why more ports are required, and we would consider changing the amount!
