How to add a subuser to your billing account

Here’s a refined and simplified guide on adding a subuser to your billing account. This is useful if you want someone else to manage your invoices, check service details, or oversee your billing account in general.

👥 Adding a Subuser 👥

Log In: First, log into your account at WitherHosting Client Portal. Then, go to the "Manage Contacts" section.

Add a New Contact: Click the "Add Contact" button to add a new subuser.

Fill Out Information: Enter the subuser's details, similar to when you signed up. Make sure to set a password. Account owners can change subuser permissions anytime by going to Manage Contacts --> Click the gear icon on the user --> Edit details. They can also log in as the subuser to verify permissions.

Tip: Click "Notify Contact" to send an email to the subuser!

✅ Setting Permissions 🚫

After entering the details, choose the appropriate permissions for the subuser. Options include pre-defined permissions like "Accounting", "Full Privileges", and "Technical Staff". For instance, if the subuser will manage bills, assign them the accounting permissions.

Once you've selected the permissions, click "Submit" to add the user.

🔓 Subuser Login 🔓

If the subuser already has an account, they will have two passwords: one for subuser login and one for their client account.

As the new subuser, check your email for login information from us. Use these details to log into the account.

You now have access to the account!
